With all the recalls I've been hearing lately, are elf cosmetics safe for use?

I love elf products, but they're made in China. I knew this when I purchased them and figured that it would be okay. But now I'm hearing that there's lead in a lot of popular lipsticks, etc. In the past twenty minutes, they announced THREE new toy recalls because they contained lead.

How do you feel about using elf cosmetics with all the recalls lately? I really love the products but I'm starting to worry for my safety. With all the recalls I've been hearing lately, are elf cosmetics safe for use?
Cheaper cosmetics=cheap quality, so you do get what you pay for. E.LF. cosmetics don't exactly have the greatest ingredients in their products. With all the recalls I've been hearing lately, are elf cosmetics safe for use?
never heard that before...but i wouldnt worry...well i use elf and my skin hasnt even broken out yet so ..
that really scares me, i just bought some elf products at a local store because they were having a HUGE sale on those products...like 50 cents for a foundation brush, blush, and lipstick

umm. now im worried too :S

i hope they have a swift and voluntary recall soon!
I also bought a lot of the E.L.F. products, and needless to say, I'm not a little worried. I've only been using the eyeshadow and the lip gloss, and nothing's happened yet.

Would I still be ok?
I wouldn't use anything made in China! Just today I heard of a child dying by putting a charm in his mouth that came off of his tennis shoes, he didn't choke, he died from lead poisoning, the charm was tested and was almost 100% lead. The charm was made in China.

I also saw on fox news that millions of items have already been recalled but how many millions haven't been recalled yet? Ditch those cosmetics and for your own safety check to see where items are made before purchasing.
