I'm thinking about getting started selling Mark Cosmetics. I wondered if there's anyone out there that can tell me more than just what the website does. Sorta the ins and outs...the good and bad of selling it.
ThanksAnyone sell Mark Cosmetics?
I have experience with Mark and Avon. If you have friends who like make up and fashion, and you have an outgoing personality, you could do very well selling Mark. The biggest potential problem is if you become your own best customer and end up spending more than your earn. Also, resist the urge to ';stock up'; on products that you may not be able to sell later. If you have more specific questions, post it here and I'll try to help.
Update: Mark representatives can only sell Mark products. Avon representatives can sell both. If you want to be a Mark rep with access to Avon products, you may be able to work out an arrangement with your Leadership Rep, but that would be between you.
FYI-Mark and Avon have different earnings structures. Mark rep earnings are a fixed % and less of a risk. Avon rep earnings are variable--the more you sell the higher % you earn and vice versa. You must be 18 to be an Avon representative. You can be 16 or 17 (with parental consent) to sell Mark.Anyone sell Mark Cosmetics?
Mark is the ';younger'; Avon, I sold Avon and also carried the Mark catalogs. It's a great line and you make as much as you want really. The harder you work and more people you distribute your catalog too the more you sell. Also, samples, be picky about which ones you buy BUT hand them out generously, people like what they can try. Good luuck
