Is cosmetic surgery in a foreign country safe?

I always hear bad things about it but im sure there are places that provide safe and effective procedures right? I checked out a place in Margarita Island. Here's the website.

It seems as though its legit since there's a number to reach them.Is cosmetic surgery in a foreign country safe?
No surgery is ever completely safe.

However, there are no guarantees.

Best bet if you want someone carving you up to make you look better is to get references and check them yourself (as in - former patients.)Is cosmetic surgery in a foreign country safe?
To begin with - that depends on which foreign countries you just might be talking about - because I am sure their will be many that you do not need to go anywhere near. Having a phone nunber does not make any place legitimiate. You need to ring the accreditation board or the surgery board and perhaps consumers complaints/affairs to determine whether or not this place is considered appropriate for what you want. Even insurance cover does not make it legit. You need to know if they are recognised as a practise and if they are registered to practise dong what they state they do. You need to make sure that the surgeons etc are all qualified and that their quals are recognised and not from some dinky die dogey online or 2 week course etc. If you want to find someone external who is legit the ask at a hospital where they may do similar surgery if they have a list of surgeons in other areas. Hope this helps.
