No, it isn't. Sleeping in contacts that are not designed for it can cause dammage to your eye. Do not do it.Is it safe to sleep in cosmetic contacts??
It is not safe because you run the risk of infections. Some infections are severe enough for you to lose vision. It isn't the 'end of the world' though. Most of the time, you just dry out the contacts, and your eyes feel like they are 'burning' for a few minutes to an hour. Now, if you feel pain, light sensitive, redness, loss of vision, and/or have a lot of mucus build-up, go right away to an eye doctor to get it checked out.
they can get dried and then in the morning they will be stuck to the back of your eye and you can't get it out.
